Do you know what inhuman plague is born of evil parasitic worms and infectious rats? Symptoms may include: labored gasping breathing, searing eye swelling, boiling joint pain, weakened muscles, vile vomiting, and debilitating diarrhea.

If any of this feels familiar, you may have been smacked in the gut with a dose of Trixie Gnosis. Serving up a raw dish of pain to each opponent on the rink, Trixie leaves all others quivering with fear or doubled over in agony.

Drafted by the M80's at the end of their 2nd championship season, Trixie is sure to bring some solid blocking and enormous pain potential to the already stellar lineup. But don't get too close, Trixie Gnosis doesn't play well with others.

How did you come up with your derby name?

I am a Chef and I teach food safety classes. Trichinosis-a food borne illness caused by eating raw pork or game that is infected with a parasitic round worm, Gnosis=knowing Trixie=Derogatory slang word for an urban white woman And one of my favorite movies/broadway productions---"Hedwig and the Angry Inch" has a character called Tommy Gnosis who is such the villain---hence the #1inch. The name is just super fitting all the way around.

How and when did you get involved in roller derby?

September 2007--- Came to a Valentine's fundraiser in 2006 and really wanted to join then, but didn't have the time.

Any serious injuries?

I don't get injuries, I give them

Eli Wallop (Smashies) and Red Dawn (Stunts)

all Blocking positions

Worst penalty ever committed?

If the ref didn't call it, it wasn't a penalty!!

Any pre-bout rituals?

I like to listen to a lot of Metal, really loud to get pumped up, drink lots of water and stretch!!

What kind of skates and wheels do you roll on?

Most exciting moment in your derby career?

They have all been exciting moments-I am looking forward to my first official bout Feb 21st.

Favorite derby player?

Keligula--she is my teammate and derby wife and she is so awesome-fast and agile.

What is your derby pet peeve?

Drama--a bunch of competitive women working hard to get something done can sometimes equal a little drama---let's keep it on the track!

Favorite adult bevie?
