Rhino-Might, No. 530

What is your tagline?

You only play leap frog with a Rhino once!

How did you come up with your number?

It's the area code of the area of Northern California where I was born and raised.

How did you come up with your derby name?

It was our first night of being able to hit at practice, The Bevo Kill yelled at me, I think in an attempt to motivate me, "come on Rhino, Hit me!" It stuck from there and people started calling me Rhino.

How and when did you get involved with roller derby?

Vendetta VanGo. After being a loyal fan and supporter for three seasons I decided to put on some skates and see how I would manage.

Any serious injuries?

Nothing yet.

Do you have a rival on the track?

Anyone in the way of my team scoring points.

What is your favorite position to play?

I both block and jam. At this point I would say I prefer jamming. Most people claim they prefer blocking because they get to hit people, I hit people when I jam so it's the best of both worlds.

What is the worst penalty you ever committed?

It was probably at an after party.

Do you have any pre-bout rituals?

Make sure I have some black socks. Get the iPod in check, and hydrate.

What kind of skates and wheels do you roll on?

265 boot (the white ones) and Atom Jukes.

What has been your most exciting moment in your derby career?

I've already had a lot of great moments in my short career but the stand outs are being drafted to the M-80s and when the Lunachix took down Kansas City Plan B.
