Though lacking much formal education, Peppy is very intelligent, has a well-honed sense of justice and fair play, and has learned from a wide variety of experiences. The daughter of a strong, hard ass military father and yoga and wine loving hippy of a mother she has the best, or is it worst? of both personalities. Her parents left her alone in a boring city but roller derby keeps her off the streets and out of trouble. Peppy may be young but she can handle those pompous adults who think they can boss her around.

How did you come up with your derby name?

My boss at the time wanted me to be Peppi-Ronie. I said No. But decided to stick with Peppi and use Peppy. I couldn't just be Peppy... so what else? I have long legs!!! People have associated my name with Pippi Longstocking and I've decided to play along with it.

How and when did you get involved in roller derby?

I've always known about it. Never thought about doing it until a really boring day when I spent too much time online and came across recruitment info. I joined February of 2008.

Any serious injuries?

Just the usual knee issues.

Do you have a rival on the track?

All my rookie friends who were drafted to the Smashies and M80s.

Favorite position to play?

Blocker

Worst penalty ever committed?

I've accidentally smacked a few people in the face.

Any pre-bout rituals?

Sleeping in, good coffee, cleaning my skates, good lunch, chug water, listen to some pumping music.

What kind of skates and wheels do you roll on?

Riedell wickeds with flat outs

Most exciting moment in your derby career?

Winning my rookie rumble with the Pink Vixens in May of 08. The call from Grave Danger that I was a Stunt Devil.

Favorite derby player?

In ARRG I really admire Overland Offender, Eli Wallop, Grave Danger, Ana Warpath, Mayor Francis Slayer, and The Educator. From the Ohio Rollergirls I like Foxy Force. I like any tall jammer. My goal is to be one some day.

What is your derby pet peeve?

At practice when people do loud screeching T-Stops. I'd rather listen to nails scrap a chalkboard.

Favorite adult bevie?

No drinky....
