How did you come up with your number?

73 mph marks the speed at which winds are classified as hurricanes.

How did you come up with your derby name?

Kalestorm is my real name. I go by Kali in my regular life to keep the fan lines down in the grocery store.

How and when did you get involved with roller derby?

I read about ARRG on a flyer hanging on the bathroom door of Blueberry Hill. Everyone looked ferocious.

Any serious injuries?

A sprained ankle. Really more of an annoyance than anything else.

Do you have a rival on the track?

No, but my goal for the season is to attack Danger with as many stealth hugs as possible. The trick is to get in and get out before she traps you in a head lock. Keep it on the DL.

What is your favorite position to play?

Blocker. Preferably with Party foul in my pack because she's rad.

What kind of skates & wheels do you roll on?

Wickeds with aluminum plates and radar wheels

What has been your most exciting moment in your derby career?

Being drafted to the RSA! I love being on a team that regularly discusses dinosaurs and string theory. xNERD4LIFEx
