How did you come up with your derby name?
Let’s just say I frequent many bathrooms.
How did you come up with your number?
I think you can guess and probably be right.
How and when did you get involved with roller derby?
I made it in the league February of 2011, and it all started the previous summer when a friend of mine’s mom mentioned how she found out about roller derby in St. Louis and was going to try out. I told her that sounded awesome and asked if I could join her! She unexpectedly passed away before going to info night and tryouts, so I kept going in her honor, and I’m so glad I did!
Any serious injuries?
In May of 2011 I strained my MCL trying to jam during draft night! I was out for a little while!
Do you have a rival on the track?
Naw!
What is your favorite position to play?
I am really starting to embrace blocking!
What is the worst penalty you ever committed?
Hahaha! Cutting the track, I love cutting the track! Ok, I don’t love it, but I do it. Aaaaand I back block…
Do you have any pre-bout rituals?
Go to the bathroom, go to the bathroom… drink lots of water, go to the bathroom, maybe eat a protein bar… and have a special chat with Harsha Punishment! And go to the bathroom one more time!
What has been your most exciting moment in your derby career?
The play-offs, February 2012, RSA vs. Stunt Devils, RSA had 4 skaters with injuries so I got to play my heart out! We got creamed! But I had a great time!
