How did you come up with your derby name?

Danikka has been a nickname for a while. I wanted to keep it.

How and when did you get involved in roller derby?

I was a rink rat. I read about the LA Derby Dolls in a magazine several years ago. It looked like a sport I would love. After that I started researching teams. I stalked ARRG for a while then moved to STL to skate.

Any serious injuries?

I've had some. Pulled my hamstring, broken fingers, and have a partial tear in my ACL.

Do you have a rival on the track?

Just your mom but she is scared of me.

Favorite position to play?

I REALLY REALLY like to hit things so probably blocking.

Worst penalty ever committed?

I usually don't commit HORIBBLE penalties. I mostly cut the track and backblock.

Any pre-bout rituals?

I stay up late and drink a lot...wait. No. I eat scrambled eggs for breakfast. That is about it.

What kind of skates and wheels do you roll on?

Um they are round, blue, and have grooves. I am equipment illiterate. They came on my skates and they roll.

Most exciting moment in your derby career?

Probably the St. Lunachix game again the Backwoods Betties. Winning that was an amazing feeling
