How did you come up with your derby name?

I went to school for fashion design, and love all things high fashion, and I have a bit of a shoe addiction.

How and when did you get involved in roller derby?

I was a PR Manager for a local St. Louis nightclub, and some of the girls came in wanting to promote their first season. I let them pass out flyers and bought them a round of shots. Faith Kill came up to me halfway through the night and told me I should join. I went home that night and looked them up, went to Rollercade to try out to since the last time I was on skates was fifth grade. They asked me to join and told me they would teach me to play the game. Their first bout of the season was September 10th 2006. I sat there in the crowd and knew that this was my sport! I started the next day.

Any serious injuries?

Fractured my jaw (right side) deep tissues damage to right knee, 2 concussions, fractured the top of my right foot.

Do you have a rival on the track?

YES! I would say every blocker on the opposite team! But Grave Danger has always been that one blocker that I have always played the cat & mouse game with, I just love making her mad on the track!

Favorite position to play?

JAMMER of course! It has become a hard position and I have been injured a lot, but it's in my blood. I love the feeling of skating full speed into a pack of girls knowing four of them are trying to stop me.

Worst penalty ever committed?

I was trying to pass my Jammer star to Jenny Bonebreak (the pivot at the time can become the jammer, it's called passing the star) but she didn't realize it and as I handed the helmet cover to her she dropped it, in a panic I turned around on the track and reached to get it back. Well that's a major penalty. You can't turn around and skate in the opposite direction on the track.

Any pre-bout rituals?

I sleep in, and just relax. I take the day off if I can. I eat lunch at Jimmy Johns and make sure to take all my vitamins. Then I listen to our Smashinistas fight song CD to get my heart pumping and my mind in the game.

What kind of skates and wheels do you roll on?

Boots: Riedell 195 Plates: PowerDyne Reactor Wheels: Atom Low boys/ or a combo of Black Radar devil rays & Pink Flatouts.

Most exciting moment in your derby career?

Winning the Fall Brawl tournament in 08 with the All Star Team, and getting MVP of the Championship game.

Favorite derby player?

Honestly it changes, there are a bunch of great women in this league and we all work very hard to play and run our league. So we have a great support system in each other.

What is your derby pet peeve?

Giving up! Not pushing yourself to become a better player. Blaming others for your own faults.

Favorite adult bevie?

DR. PEPPER! Sorry not a drinker, it's not good on the body :)
