There’s plenty of activity for the Arch Rival Roller Girls as they prepare for the home opener to the 2012-13 local season, which takes place on Saturday, November 10 at Midwest Sport Hockey in Balllwin, MO.

Last week, the league revealed the official post-bout after party venue for the first event and announced its official charity partner for the upcoming season.
ARRG’s official post-bout after-party on Saturday, November 10 will be held at Atomic Cowboy (4140 Manchester Avenue, St. Louis, MO.) Located in the “Grove” section of St. Louis, the eclectic hot spot will give fans a chance to relive their favorite moments of the evening with the athletes of ARRG while enjoying late-night specials. ARRG’s charity partner for the 2012-13 local season is CHADS Coalition (Communities Healing Adolescent Depression and Suicide). Based in St. Louis, the mission of the non-profit is to advance the knowledge and prevention of adolescent depression and suicide through awareness, education and research.
ARRG will be supporting CHADS Coalition this season with its charity raffle drawings held at home bouts. Participating fans can win ARRG tickets, gift certificates from local businesses and other prizes by making a contribution with the purchase of raffle tickets. Last season, donations topped $3,500 for Safe Connections, ARRG’s 2011-12 charity partner. Monies raised this season will fund CHADS Coalition’s school outreach programs (focused on suicide, bullying, and depression) in the Bi-State area.

The league will be busy this week spreading the word about the upcoming season opener. ARRG is set to appear on STL-TV’s “Best in the STL” program, which will be taped this Wednesday. Nine local bouts are included in the season ticket package, which includes the entire interleague season as well as four “travel team” double headers. Advance season passes are $85 apiece! All nine events will be held at Midwest Sport Hockey in Ballwin, MO.

ARRG/SCDC MASH-UP SQUAD FALLS TO EVANSVILLE
(ST. PETERS, MO) A first-time cooperative between the C-team of ARRG and the B-team of the St. Chux Derby Chix suffered a set-back Saturday night at Matteson Square Garden.
ARRG’s “Fleur-De-Linquents” and SC/DC’s “Hell’s Belles” – collectively billed as the “Hell’s De-Linquents” – fell 144-117 to the Demolition City Destruction Dames of Evansville, IN.
