LOCAL TEAMS SUPPLEMENT ROSTERS VIA DRAFT!

2012 LEAGUE CHAMPS SELECT THREE WHILE RSA ADDS ONE!

(ST. LOUIS, MO) A pair of local squads for the Arch Rival Roller Girls added to their respective team’s rosters Monday night via a draft held in St. Louis.

Interleague drafts are held periodically throughout the calendar year in order to supplement rosters that have been affected by skater retirements.

The M-80s – the 2012 ARRG league champions – added three skaters to their interleague line-up. The firecrackers drafted skaters Ida the Living Dead, Winchester Witch and Newbie Nikki (future derby name TBD).

Ida skated with the ARRG Fleur Delinquents – the league’s C-team – in their bout against Dark River Derby Coalition two weekends ago.

Rebel Skate Alliance – who finished fourth locally in 2012 – drafted skater Lady McDeath to their roster.

The Stunts Devils and the Smashinistas, who locally finished second and third respectively in 2012, elected to bypass this round of the draft.

Another local draft will be held in October prior to the league’s first local bouts of the 2012-13 season, which are set to begin in November.

Congratulations to the four skaters who were selected to the ARRG local rosters.
