ARRG AT PRIDEFEST PARADE THIS SUNDAY!

Continuing a long-standing tradition, the Arch Rival Roller Girls will participate in the PrideFest St. Louis 2012 Parade, set for this Sunday at noon.

Billed as the second largest parade in the City of St. Louis, the parade begins on the corner of Grand Avenue and Utah heads north past Arsenal to the entrance of Tower Grove Park.

Skaters from ARRG as well as the STL Gatekeepers men’s derby franchise will be there to entertain the crowd along the parade route.

The signature event is part of the two day celebration – held Saturday & Sunday, June 23 & 24 from 11am- 8pm at St. Louis’ Tower Grove Park.

Celebrating its thirty-third year, the theme of this year’s PrideFest St. Louis weekend is “BE YOU!”

There’s a full schedule of events set for the weekend. Headlining the musical entertainment on Saturday night is multi-platinum country artist Shelby Lynne, who won a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2001. Earlier in the afternoon, national touring comedienne and television star Margaret Cho will perform.
