ARRG INVADES THE 2010 ST. LOUIS AUTO SHOW
The hottest action in St. Louis on four wheels teams up with the nation’s hottest wheels of the future at the upcoming St. Louis Auto Show, held January 28-31 at America’s Center and Dome - 701 Convention Plaza, Downtown St. Louis.
The athletes of ARRG will play a 30-minute exhibition on the following dates and times:
Friday, January 29 - 7 PM
Saturday, January 30 - 7 PM
Sunday, January 31 - 2 PM
The largest automobile show in the St. Louis area, the 2010 St. Louis Auto Show features more than 500 new cars, trucks, SUVs and concept vehicles from over 25 manufacturers.
There’s plenty going on throughout the four-day tilt, which features the Mach5 from “Speed Racer.” The cost of your ticket (which is free for kids under 6) will guarantee you and your friends the high speed action on quad skates along with high-end power of tomorrow’s most anticipated machines.
ARRG GIVES BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
The Arch Rival Roller Girls actively team up with local non-profit organizations on a yearly basis to raise awareness i
n the bi-state area. This season, ARRG is proud to be working with Youth In Need, which was founded in 1974 in St. Charles County by community volunteers.
Youth In Need provides residential homes, homeless street outreach, early childhood education, counseling and support groups, teen parent services and foster care management for children of all ages and their families.
Every year ARRG sets a goal to achieve - this year our goal is $3,500.
And here’s how you can help! At home bouts this season at the All-American Sports Mall, ARRG will set-up a special raffle table located at the main entrance (you’ll see it to your left when you enter through the doors). ARRG will be selling raffle tickets for prize baskets. In January, our raffle baskets included ARRG merchandise, gift certificates to local businesses and other assorted goodies - including a pair of St. Louis Blues’ hockey tickets!
The cost of these raffle tickets are $1 each or $5 for six tickets. You’ll also see ARRG staff selling these raffle tickets in the audience during the first half of home bouts, with a drawing to take place at halftime.
Judging from January’s drawing, we are off to a great start in our 2010 effort.
But remember, we can’t hit our goal without the support of you, a member of the ARRG-loving public. Be sure to look for the special raffle table on February 6th as soon as you walk in!
♥ ARRG is also assembling a team for the upcoming “5th Annual St. Louis Walk for Wishes” indoor family walk, which will be held on Saturday, February 20 at West County Center - Shopping Mall in Des Peres, MO. Find out more about team ARRG (and its $1,500 goal to help the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Missouri) here.
