Charity

ARRG is dedicated to giving back to the St. Louis community. For the 2013-14 season ARRG will provide all raffle proceeds collected during their home bouts to Girls On The Run St. Louis.

Girls On The Run St. Louis

The mission of Girls On The Run St. Louis (GOTR-STL) is to empower girls for a lifetime of healthy living. Our program, for girls in 3rd-8th grades (8-13 years), combines training for a 5k (3.1 mile) run with life skill lessons designed to encourage healthy habits and active lifestyles. 100% of funds raised for our Scholarship Program are used to help serve 6,000 girls annually in more than 250 schools in 19 counties across eastern Missouri and western Illinois. These girls are the future of our community

ARRG is also dedicated to helping keep the city of St. Louis clean. We have signed a 3 year contract with the Adopt-a-Highway Program to clean up a section of Highway 55 near Germainia.

By combining microfinance with the internet, Kiva is creating a global community of people connected through lending.  ARRG is very excited to participate in KIVA!  As business women, we can help other women develop businesses.
